About the product
NordicAlkemy is our new brand for adaptogens – mushrooms and plants that have been used for centuries to support the body’s balance and resilience. Adaptogens always work with the body, never against it.
They never push a function beyond its limits but instead act in a normalizing and optimizing way based on the body’s own capacity. The result is often seen as increased energy, improved focus, and enhanced well-being in everyday life.
Support for brain and nervous system
Lion’s Mane is one of the world’s most talked-about adaptogenic mushrooms and is valued for its ability to support brain function. It has long been used to promote concentration, memory, and mental clarity.
Studies also suggest that Lion’s Mane may stimulate nerve growth and contribute to the health of the nervous system, making it a natural choice for long-term brain health.
Natural sharpness without stress
Unlike caffeine and other stimulants, Lion’s Mane provides no stressful or short-lived “kick”. Instead, many experience a more balanced form of focus and clarity, making it easier to stay productive while remaining calm throughout the day.
High bioavailability for noticeable effect
Our Lion’s Mane tincture is produced through a carefully performed dual extraction that captures both water- and fat-soluble compounds. The result is a concentrated tincture with bioavailability of up to 90%, which is significantly higher than what the body can typically absorb from standard supplements.
Quality and safety in every bottle
For maximum purity, we only use the fruiting bodies of the mushroom – never mycelium, fillers, or unnecessary additives. Each batch also undergoes strict laboratory testing to ensure the correct content of active compounds and the absence of heavy metals, pesticides, and other contaminants. You can therefore trust that every bottle meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Lion’s Mane – Nature’s own brain booster
Lion’s Mane, also known as hedgehog mushroom, has a long tradition in Asia, where it has been used both as food and medicine. In Japan, it is called “yamabushitake” and has been valued by monks for its ability to enhance focus during meditation.
Modern research has made it even more interesting thanks to its unique compounds, hericenones and erinacines – substances that may stimulate nerve growth factor (NGF). This is one of the reasons why Lion’s Mane is now considered one of the most promising adaptogens for brain health and cognition.
