What is CBG?
CBG, less known than CBD, has the potential for even greater benefits. Cannabigerol (CBG) is often referred to as the “mother cannabinoid”. Among the over 110 cannabinoids in hemp, CBG is the first one synthesized by the plant. As the plant develops, CBG is transformed into CBD and other cannabinoids.

The harvesting and extraction of CBG are challenging due to this transformation process. Industrial hemp naturally contains about 1% CBG (compared to 4% CBD), and there’s a high risk that the hemp may have already started converting to other cannabinoids at harvest.

To enhance the effect of CBG oil, organic hemp seed oil is used as a carrier oil. This not only adds a pleasant taste but also improves the absorption of CBG and CBD.

Why This Product
The combination of high levels of CBG and CBD means that the cannabinoids in the product have a stronger synergy effect and become more effective than cannabinoids on their own. Synergy is a common concept in the CBD world, where broad-spectrum products contain more than just one or two isolated cannabinoids.

Most products on the market are based on cheap isolates, which certainly contain cannabinoids, but do not produce the same effect. Research strongly suggests that cannabinoids benefit from each other and contribute to a greater effect when they work together than individually.

CBD or CBG – Which is Best and What Should I Choose?

Although CBG and CBD share many properties, there are still some differences. The effects of combining these two cannabinoids can together enhance the effect of the cannabinoids.

Instead of excluding one or the other cannabinoid, it should be seen as CBG + CBD. Research is still very early, but it is clear that CBG seems to have a very exciting future. CBG contributes to the effects and benefits of CBD being longer and more distinctive. Like CBD, CBG binds to our endocannabinoid system, which in turn controls over important processes that include – mood, appetite, sleep, and pain.

More About the Product We want to emphasize that CBG is not psychoactive and therefore cannot make you intoxicated or “high.” CBG is completely legal in Sweden and can be used, purchased, and sold.
